About ReCa

ReCa is a car rental marketplace in Pakistan where you can rent a car self-drive or with a driver, by the day, from verified local vendors in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and other major cities.

What ReCa does

ReCa is a marketplace, not a rental fleet. We do not own cars. Instead, people who own a car list it with their own price and their own availability, and people who need a car for a day or a month book it directly. The owner sets the terms; ReCa provides the listing, the availability calendar, the messaging, the booking flow and the ratings that make the whole thing trustworthy.

How this differs from a rental agency

A traditional rental agency buys a fleet, marks up the daily rate to cover it, and gives you whatever car in that class happens to be free. On ReCa you see the exact car you are getting, photographed by its owner, with the owner’s own price. Because there is no fleet to finance and no agency margin, rates tend to be lower — and because you talk to the owner directly, you can ask about the things a call centre cannot answer.

Where ReCa operates

ReCa currently has listings in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Murree. Coverage is deepest in the twin cities and Lahore, and grows as more owners list their cars.

How we keep it safe

Every vendor account is reviewed and approved by a ReCa admin before any of their cars become visible. Vendors decide what documents they need from a renter before handing over the keys, and renters upload those with the booking. After each completed trip the renter rates both the car and the owner, and those ratings stay visible on the listing.
